Creating Traveller characters has always been a fun mini-game since the original "Little Black Books".
For player character generation I recommend sitting down with your group of players and rolling the characters by hand.
However, for the busy GM this tool can save a lot of time and effort. It can also be a great tool to teach new players about the game.
